Fabina Itana Benites

Fabina is a native of Carhuanca, a small rural village in the Andes mountains of Peru and has been raised between Peru, the Bronx, and Ithaca, NY. She brings over 18 years of experience working on both the front lines and behind the scenes of racial justice and decolonization movements as a community organizer, educator, mentor, strategist, facilitator and activist. She has deep expertise in changing narratives and building systemic and cultural change through capacity building, shared leadership, and strategic direction.  Fabina’s spirit follows the advancement of cultural and political education, indigenous traditions, and creative arts as vehicles for community building and revolutionary justice, liberation, and change.
