Programs 2025
After over a year of re-visioning, we’re thrilled to introduce our 2025 program offerings!
Tuesday, February 25th we held an info session. If you want to learn more, you can also check out our IG live!
Please Note: We are not launching a cohort program with an application process this year.
Based on community feedback, we will pilot four courses that center Food Justice, connecting the land and people through discussion and time on the land. These courses will also be part of the cohort certificate program in 2026:
Food Justice Foundations
Food Justice 101: Introduction to Food Justice
Learning the Land - Registration opens 4/17
Advocacy for Urban Growers - Registration opens 5/17
Understanding Systems: Recognize and Resist - Registration opens 6/17
For the first time since 2019, we’re also opening our Core Courses to the public. These four courses make up Introduction to Land Stewardship, inviting urban growers into technical and community-based growing practices.
Intro to Land Stewardship
Plant Beginnings - Registration opens 3/17
Water is Life - Registration opens 4/28
Crop Management - Registration opens 6/2
We are currently fundraising to launch the full FSNYC Urban Agriculture Certificate Program, which includes Food Justice Foundations, Intro to Land Stewardship, and, pending funding, an on-the-land immersion. FSNYC is also fundraising to share workshops and intensives for deeper dives into urban agriculture topics.
